PARIS—“Under My Skin,” a show of work by eight up-and-coming video artists, runs from January 12 through February 9 at the Paris gallery of
Magda Danysz, who in 2006 cofounded the FIAC satellite
Show Off. The two- to eight-minute videos range from editions of five priced at €1,000 to €2,000 ($1,500–$2,900), such as Zurich-based
Elodie Pong’s satire about an aspiring pole dancer, to unique works like Parisian
Hendrick Dussolier’s installation
Face—a photo cabin that invites viewers to take a seat and watch how the visage on the screen reacts to their every movement (€10,000; $14,700). The show is curated by
Carine Le Malet, artistic director of
Cube, a digital-art center that opened in 2001 on the edge of Paris.
