Influenced by my daily devouring of literature, I would say the pictures which I paint are a visual form of fiction writing. They are essentially pre-narrative set-ups containing fictional elements hopefully encouraging subjective interpretation. Painted into raw panels with thin paint they become a sort of contemporary fresco into wood.
