Since opening his first gallery in Stockholm 1978, Björn Ressle rapidly gained domestic and international recognition for his exhibitions in the field of established and emerging contemporary art.

For more than ten years in the late 1980's through 1990's, while living between Stockholm, Bogota and New York, Björn Ressle was curator for important exhibitions at galleries and art museums in Europe as well as in South America.
