Sungmi Lee: Evanescence

The C. Grimaldis Gallery is pleased to present SUNGMI LEE: Evanescence. The exhibition opens Wednesday, October 3rd with a reception from 6-8pm.

In her solo exhibition at the C. Grimaldis Gallery, Sungmi Lee will present drawings as well as 3-dimensional works using translucent materials uniting themes of meditation, cultural identity and isolation. The materials Lee uses are in large part transclucent as part of her investigation of “the elusive and fading quality of memory” along with their natural interactivity with the environment.
