Hasted Hunt welcomes Joseph Kraeutler as a partner.

Hasted Hunt Kraeulter relocates to 537 West 24th Street. Hasted Hunt Kraeutler will open to the public on Thursday, October 1, 2009.
HASTED HUNT KRAEUTLER will have an inaugural reception on Tuesday, October 6th, from 6 to 8 p.m. to celebrate the new partnership and gallery space with the international debut of “Edward Burtynsky: Oil”. The artist will be present. This exhibition is produced in conjunction with an accompanying monograph from Steidl and a major show for Mr. Burtynsky at the Corcoran Museum of Art in Washington DC.

Sarah Hasted and W.M. Hunt debuted Hasted Hunt in September of 2005 and quickly established themselves as an important New York gallery specializing in photography.

The Village Voice named Hasted Hunt as the most important new gallery in their first year, and they were featured in the BBC’s “The Genius of photography” as well as Esquire, The New Yorker, Vanity Fair, For- tune and most recently, featured in The New York Times and NPR.

Sarah Hasted and W.M. Hunt are delighted to welcome Joseph Kraeutler as a new partner. His extensive knowledge of vintage and contemporary photography, as well as the secondary market, will expand Hasted Hunt Kraeutler's outreach and programming to feature rare but important works and spe-cially curated exhibitions.

Joseph Kraeutler has most recently been Managing Director of Klever Holdings, where he handled its sub-stantial art holdings and negotiated private treaty sales on behalf of a select group of clients. Prior to that he was New York Director of Photographs with Phillips de Pury & Company. He began his career in New York at Janet Borden, Inc. after finishing degrees in art and business.
