About Beaux Arts Gallery

Beaux Arts Gallery has the worldwide representation of Modern Master Sculptor Manuel Carbonell. The gallery, one of the oldest-established galleries in Miami opened its doors in 1988.  For 20 years, Carbonell had been the only artist that the gallery had represented. “I believe that to be fair to an artist, you have to give him the best representation possible. It takes an enormous amount of time and investment to represent a major artist like Carbonell. It is for this reason, that I had not represented other living artists until last year, when I selected four new international talented and well established artists”, says gallery Director Ricardo J. Gonzalez III.

Prior to Beaux Arts commencing to represent Carbonell, he exhibited for over 12 years at the renowned Schoneman Galleries in New York’s Madison Avenue. The gallery specialized in major French Impressionists Masters when they started to represent their first sculptor: Modern Master Manuel Carbonell, who then exhibited his works along the paintings of the Impressionist Masters, Braque, Chagall, Monet, Duffy, Picasso, Renoir and others.

Beaux Arts specializes in monumental sculptures. Carbonell’s work has transcend from large monumental public commissions to his personal expression where even his small maquettes are characterized by the feeling of monumentality that he imparts to his sculptures. His monumental sculptures are now part of important collections, which are found at selected in-door and out-door spaces such “Couple in Love” located at the entrance lobby of the Mandarin Oriental Miami. Two new 6-foot sculptures, “Torso” and “Lovers” now adorn the new 40-story Carbonell Condominium, named in the Artist honor and located in Brickell Key, Miami, Florida, A six-foot Torso can be found in downtown Sarasota, Florida at Shelby’s Five Point Park and the sculpture New Generation is part of the landscape of Xujiahui Park, Shanghai, China.

The Gallery is now representing the paintings and sculptures of Carbonell disciple Uruguayan artist Mauro Arbiza Fernandez, the modern abstract paintings of the talented Italian artist and Paris resident Rossella Gilli, the romantic surrealist paintings of the young Cuban born artists Enrique Agramonte and the commissioned works of Spanish sculptor Marco Duenas Cepas who is presently completing a project of 50 fifteen-foot marble sculptures of the famous personalities of the City of Cordova, Spain.

We cordially invite you to visit our gallery on your next trip to Miami.
