Yuko Yada: Nittenshi - The God of the Sun

The Nippon Gallery will present Glass Art Exhibition “Nittenshi - The God of the Sun” by Yuko Yada on June 6, 2008. (Sponsored by the Consulate General of Japan in New York)
Ms. Yada has developed an original technique in the realm of glass art.  She takes three individual glass plates of distinctcolors and joins them with one flame. A specific type of glass is used, which allows light to pass through purely and reflect clearly, no matter how deep, dense or numerous the plates of glass.
