Ricco/Maresca is
pleased to present their current exhibition: Salon Dialogue: Conversations
with the Past and the Present, a sophisticated collection of works
assembled to represent a cross-section of the gallery’s thirty year history.
Individually, these works could be labeled Folk, Outsider, Self-Taught or
Contemporary, but grouped in salon fashion, each has become a singular part,
fitting into a new place, relating one to another in obscure yet familiar ways,
acting wholly in discourse transcendent of time and category.
