HOKUSAI: Woodblock Prints

October 15, 2009—November 15, 2009

This autumn we will devote the gallery to the woodblock prints of the master ukiyo-e landscape artist, Katsushika Hokusai (1760-1849). The exhibition will open on Thursday, October 15th, which will coincide with our participation in Gallery Night on 57th Street. The exhibition will remain on view through mid-November, and will be included in the schedule of events related to New York Print Week, November 1 - 8th, organized by the International Fine Print Dealer's Association (IFPDA).

For the duration of the exhibition, October 15th - November 15th, 2009, the gallery will have general open hours (no appointments needed) Mon. - Fri., 11 to 5pm.
