A.R. Penck: Paintings from the Eighties

October 29, 2008—January 3, 2009
This exhibition presents a group of works painted in the years immediately following the artist's emigration to the West. The works in A.R. Penck: Paintings from the Eighties show the artist's continued search for a contemporary visual expression of the social contradictions present in German society during this time.
