About June Kelly Gallery

June Kelly is the owner and director of the SoHo art gallery that bears her name.  With a richly diverse career in the art world to her credit, she opened the June Kelly Gallery in March 1986. Ms. Kelly spent more than a decade as a private dealer in 19th and 20th century art and as manager for the late Romare Bearden, with whom she worked for some thirteen years.  During this period Ms. Kelly was involved with exhibitions in the United States and in Europe, arranging touring exhibitions, handling public art commissions and counseling corporate and private collectors.    In 1996, the gallery was elected to membership in the Art Dealers Association of America. Ms. Kelly is a trustee of Pratt Institute, a trustee of the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown, a member of Art Table, a national organization for women in the arts and a member of the advisory board of the Creative Artist Network in Philadelphia Gallery Representative and Title: June Kelly, Director
