ArtCamp2009: Open Studios

Kate Burnet & Dan Woerner live and work in Long Island City, NY and the desert of west Texas on the Terlingua Ranch. They make videos and installations and sometimes objects that graft memory and the future into a universe that presumes we are all participants in the final outcome.
Laura Clemente Castillejo works primarily in video, photography and installation, using strategies from documentary film and video art. She has exhibited at "Fa" Cultural center, Murcia, Spain, "Miscelanea", Art center, Barcelona, Spain, "Mucho más Mayo", Cartagena, Spain.
   
Sung Min Lee was born in Seoul, Korea. Her work exists in a wide variety of media including installation to sculpture, and drawing to printmaking. She received a BFA in painting from Chugye University for the Arts in Seoul, Korea. She is currently enrolled in the Fine Art Studio Program in Rochester Institute Technology MFA program.
   
Patsy McArthur was born in Glasgow and studied painting at Gray’s School of Art in Aberdeen, Scotland. She attained her MFA in European Fine Art at Winchester School of Art and currently lives in Barcelona. She has exhibited widely in the UK and at numerous international art fairs since 2001, and a solo exhibition in 2007.
   
Elise Roedenbeck is a multi-disciplinary artist whose mediums include video, drawing, collage, animation, and web art. In 2008 she obtained her MFA in computer art from the School of Visual Arts. Currently, she is Technology Assistant at Rhizome.org. Her artwork has been exhibited in Seoul, Beijing, Miami, Los Angeles, New York.. She was born in Lima, Peru and grew up in Miami, FL and currently lives in New York City.
   
Angela Rose Voulgarelis Illgen received her BFA from the University of  California at Santa Cruz in 1996. She has participated in international group exhibitions and collaborative workshops in Italy, South Africa, and the United  States. In addition, she has been an Artist in Residence at the Michaelis School of Fine Art in Cape  Town, South Africa in 2007, and was a participating artist at the Domestic Departures workshop in  Santa Ana, CA the same year.
