Zsi Chimera

(Hungarian, b. 1978)
Chimera observes the way ideas emerge from our mind. Fascinated by the subconscious, she is influenced by Freud’s psychoanalysis, as well as surrealist poetry. She combines seemingly unrelated imagery such as musical instruments, frog’s eyes and clocks, into graceful compositions on the yellow pages of a found book.
