About California State University Art Museum

The University Art Museum is Long Beachs signature cultural landmark devoted exclusively to contemporary art. Through its exhibitions, the UAM is committed to promoting cross-cultural understanding, to introducing the work of underrepresented artists, and to interpreting art of the past and present. The museums collection includes the prestigious Hampton Collection of American paintings, site-specific sculpture located throughout the campus, and works of art on paper.
