About Dia: Beacon

Dia:Beacon is a museum for Dia Art Foundation's renowned collection of art from the 1960s to the present.

In May 2003, Dia Art Foundation opened a museum to house its renowned permanent collection, comprising major works of art from the 1960s to the present. Dia:Beacon occupies a nearly 300,000-square-foot historic printing facility located on the Hudson River in Beacon, New York. Artists whose works are on view include Joseph Beuys, John Chamberlain, Dan Flavin, Michael Heizer, Donald Judd, On Kawara, Agnes Martin, and Richard Serra.
