About Eli Klein Fine Art
Eli Klein Fine Art opens its doors on West Broadway on September 29th. The opening exhibition will show Alexander Calder alongside modern, contemporary and emerging artists. The exhibition underscores Calder's continuing influence and inspiration throughout the twentieth century and into today. Calder's forms and ideas become a thread through which over 30 artists can converse through several decades, beyond borders. With Alexander Calder as a springboard for exploration, the exhibition creates interesting new perspectives and interpretations of one of America's most important artists. Future exhibitions will continue to maintain a diversity which highlights new ideas and aesthetics emerging internationally. They include an exhibition on Contemporary Chinese art which will provide a snapshot of an endlessly exciting culture in the midst of one of the most historically dramatic transformations of our time. Another exhibition will look at contemporary art in Brazil, a country bursting with artistic innovations. Later, a show on contemporary Canadian art will look at some of the most exciting young artists coming out of Canada. This show will focus on a number of important contemporary artists in Canada and look at their innovative ideas and aesthetics.
