The Talks

The Talks event aims to create a forum for lively discussions around African contemporary art by significant thinkers and practitioners in the field. The lectures will engage with the major debates, issues and themes of the contemporary African art market within the broader international art scene. Designed to appeal to artists, art lovers, academics, business people and first time buyers alike, The Talks will be grouped into three main strands of discussion: My Collection (with a focus on collecting and curating), the Artist Spot, and Creative Industries (focused on the relationship between commerce and art and how the city interfaces with art).
