Kika Karadi was born in Budapest, Hungary and immigrated to the US at age 12. She graduated at Maryland Institute College of Art, BFA, Baltimore, Maryland 1997. In 1996, she joined the student exchange program at École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts, Paris. She now lives and works in New York and Miami.
Kika Karadi has been included in some major private art collections, and recently a large painting was acquired for the Flash Art Museum in Italy. She has also participated in the 2nd Prague Biennale, 51st Venice Biennale, and several coveted Art Fairs like Art Basel, ARCO, Art Brussels. She has also been reviewed in Art Forum (Critic's pick June 2006), Flash Art Italia (Exhibition review August 2006) and numerous reviews and interviews in Miami Herald. |
