Mauro Arbiza-Fernandez — Biography



1968 Born in Montevideo

 

From a very young age he felt an inclination for plastic arts and begins to study art with Professor Carlos Caffera until 1985. From there on he decides to follow an independent path with the development and investigation of the Technical Esthetic Conceptual and spiritual aspects of his work, particularly oriented towards paintings and sculptures. In his works he goes beyond the plastic aspect, achieving the metaphysical, to the spiritual itself applying energy with his mind. A product of the latter investigation comes about in the year 2000 with the publishing of his book “Interrealismo, arte de la Nueva Era” (“interealism, art of the new age”), which consistent with the previous analysis of his works as well as that of the artist from an energetic spiritual point of view. Currently he is studying bronze sculpturing in Miami with the renowned Cuban master Manuel Carbonell who has taken him as his disciple. Moreover he is involved in a wide culture current along with the renowned Uruguayan master Fernando Stevenazzi and prestigious Uruguayan architect Andres Rubilar (former Director of the National School of Fine Arts and currently Director of University of Art Design) both who founded in Paso de los Toros the cultural space known as “Integrarte”, having under their jurisdiction the “Espacio de la comunicación Cultural”. Within this concept they also organized the Biennale of Art already in the third edition.
