My “Modern Consumption” series, exhibited in November at OK Harris Gallery, features vivid portraits of the materials and objects which comprise much of the American commercial landscape.  This subject matter, which I discover while driving cross-country, includes piles of stored materials and grains, recycled metals, equipment and vehicles – things which most of us ignore, but which I find beautiful.
