Leonid Grinberg — Biography



 

 Leonid Grinberg came to New York in 1993 from Riga, Latvia. An engineer designer, also a graduate of Latvian Academy of fine Arts, working in the field of Mechanical Engineering for more than 25 years, Leonid also designed jewelry and artworks using various materials such as metals, gemstones, wood and paper. His Jewelry was exhibited in Latvia as a part of Folk Craft Exhibition. 

In October 2004, Leonid was introduced to stained glass by taking a course at FIT in New York. Utilizing his extensive technical skills he quickly gained mastery over this new media, creating colorful decors, lampshades and windows.
