Stuart Arends: Six A-Squares and One Large Wedge

We are pleased to announce the second solo show by STUART ARENDS at Björn Ressle Gallery. Arends, New Mexico based artist, will present his most recent Aluminum works: Six A-Squares and One Large Wedge, as well as work from the ongoing oil and wax on wood series. By utilizing generic subject matter and emphasizing the object quality of his paintings, Arends sets up the potential for direct access to an aesthetic experience grounded in traditional painting issues of color, light, space and scale.
