In Fall 2008, coinciding with Cy Twombly’s 80th birthday, the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao is to present, in cooperation with the Tate Modern, London, one of the most important retrospective exhibitions ever organized of the works of one of the late twentieth century and early twenty-first century’s most influential artists. This wide-ranging show provides a unique insight into his career.
