CURRENT EXHIBITION
Masterworks from the Kunsthistorisches Museum Vienna
October 1, 2008—October 1, 2009
The Kunsthistorisches Museum Vienna holds one of the greatest
collections of art in the world. 16th-century art, Archduke Ferdinand
and Rudolph II of Hapsburg’s Wunderkammer (or chambers of marvels), and
Baroque art collected by Archduke Leopold William provide the core of
this extraordinary collection, in which the passion for art and the
tastes of the Imperial family come through clearly even today.
