Mayumi Sarai: Recent Work

Lohin Geduld Gallery is proud to present our second solo exhibition by Mayumi Sarai.

Ms. Sarai’s art conveys an intimate relationship with the natural world. Her sculptures derive from a deep knowledge and understanding of organic structures and systems. Poetic biomorphic shapes cluster and huddle together, infusing her forms with characteristics ranging from contemplative to joyful. Sarai is experiencing her surroundings from the inside out, an active participant in a world where nature and art are one and the same.
