My Phoenix: New Perspectives

Digital imaging students at Phoenix’s Metro Tech High School and Lara Taubman, guest curator of the exhibition Pedro Meyer: Heresies, collaborated in a unique project. The students “tested the limits of truth, fiction and reality” in their photography, as Meyer does in his work. As a result, the students produced the exhibition, My Phoenix: New Perspectives, on view at Lo Nuestro Studio/Gallery in downtown Phoenix, 736 W. Fillmore Street (off 7th Avenue and Fillmore in the Grand Avenue District). Lo Nuestro specializes in contemporary Latino art. Gallery hours: first and third Fridays, 5 – 10 PM, Thursdays and Fridays, 10 AM – 5 PM, Tuesdays and Wednesdays by appointment. Call 602-254-1527.
