Richard McLean: A Look Back

Frank Bernarducci and Louis K. Meisel are pleased to announce the solo exhibition of undoubtedly the leading painter of equestrian imagery in contemporary art, Richard McLean.  Most noted for his Photorealistic renderings of thoroughbred racehorses, the majority of his work has depicted views of race tracks and county fairs in rural areas of California.  Concentrating on McLean’s classic horse images, this selective survey exhibition of major paintings and watercolors spans the past twenty years of one of this genres most eminent contemporary artists.
