The works of Augusto Zanela  and Mariano Molina both make a fresh "play on medium" with their complementary  inquiries into the construction of optical perception. Their  explorations of corresponding mediums of painting and photography through the  technique of optical illusion blur the line between subjective impression and  objective documentation.
