Up Close: Henry Darger

October 7, 2008—June 1, 2009

Focusing on a single theme, an intimate gallery on the 4th floor of the museum will be devoted to rotating exhibitions.  The first of these will showcase the mythic watercolors of Henry Darger, as well as one volume of his manuscript, “In The Realms of the Unreal,” drawn from the museum's extensive permanent collection.
