Waterways: Interpretations by Nancy Cohen
September 4, 2007—January 6, 2008
An elaborate sculptural installation inspired by the waterways of southern New Jersey fills the entire gallery. Inspired by the Mullica River, the estuaries and coastal wetlands, sculptor Nancy Cohen interprets the patterns and processes of the natural world into human understanding. The unique qualities and characteristics of the multitude of micro-organisms found in the local streams and tributaries will be presented in a site specific installation.
