Each piece in this important exhibition represents a pillar of Soto's body of work, demonstrating the artist's development and transition (1963-1990). For example L'Oeil de Boeuf is one of the first works in which Soto experiments with circular form: subtle and elegant, yet exuding powerful vibrations and optical illusion. Mural Cinetico uses repetition, geometry and its massive stature to consume the viewer, allowing for immersion into Soto's masterfully crafted kinetic movement.
