The Painted Form: The Art of Ackrill, Jabbur, and Thursby

“The Painted Form” is an exhibition of Florida artists Anthony Ackrill, Rima Jabbur and Jack Thursby.

Ackrill, a Gainesville artist, was the Instructor of Anatomy at the Florence Academy of Art in Florence, Italy for four years and the Instructor of Drawing and Painting for three.  His work has been exhibited throughout the United States and in Germany and has been shown in several arts publications.  “These pictures consistently reveal what inspires me most - light, nature, water and humans,” says Ackrill.
