Sophie Delaporte: Needleworks

Delaporte’s approach to her work is multi dimensional and incorporates the tradition of needlework in unconventional ways. With a painter’s eye, she explores emotion and sensuality whilst pushing the boundaries of sexual expression. The most vivid and striking art works originate from this and from her ability to construct an image with immaculate sense of colour.
