Excellent works on paper can also be found on the Lower East Side, in one of the growing number of galleries that have recently set up shop in the neighborhood. The Iraqi-American artist Ahmed Alsoudani was a standout in Thierry Goldberg Projects's summer group show, and now he has been given his first—and much-deserved—solo turn in the gallery.
