"Art+Auction" Editors' Picks for 2007

Italian publisher Damiani’s Bob Richardson ($75) is filled with the late lensman’s lush black-and-white shots of stylish men, women and children, including Audrey Hepburn look-alikes on faraway ski slopes and a bewitching Angelica Huston mugging for the camera with a glass of liqueur in her hand. Bob’s son Terry—the talented, if notorious, photographer perhaps best known for shooting the highly sexualized American Apparel advertisements—has compiled this glossy tribute. Expect to be overwhelmed with nostalgia for the high fashion of the 1960s and ’70s, whether or not you lived through that era.
