PHILADELPHIA, LONDON—Museum-goers in Philadelphia and London will have more time to see the latest blockbuster exhibitions. The Salvador Dali retrospective at the Philadelphia Museum of Art has been extended for two weeks, until May 30. Normally closed on Mondays, the museum is now open seven days a week, from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., to accommodate demand. The first Dali retrospective in the United States since 1941, more than 200 works of art are on display, and a total of 296,000 tickets have been issued.

Due to overwhelming public response, the Caravaggio exhibition at the National Gallery in London will also have extended hours. The first significant Caravaggio exhibition to be held in the UK, it includes sixteen major works from the last four years of his life, a very turbulent period when he was on the run from a capital sentence. Many of these works were previously unknown to contemporary audiences. The exhibition runs until May 22, and will remain open until midnight on Saturday, May 21. There will be live music and a bar in the evenings during the last week of the exhibition.
