There is a lot of art in the Biennale that has to do with politically volatile and contentious situations, but it is not declarative or position-taking. There is one body of work by Leon Ferrari that addresses the dictatorship in Argentina during the '70s and can be called "protest art." I'm actually very interested in the political dimensions of art.
