Gap Founders Propose Contemporary Museum for San Francisco
Published: August 8, 2007
The proposal, for a 100,000-square-foot museum called CAMP, for Contemporary Art Museum in the Presidio, will be evaluated by the park's trust, which hopes to receive other offers for the proposed site, according to Craig Middleton, executive director of the Presidio. "I think it's one of those things where we're going to be asking people to not only provide ideas that would complement this idea," said Middleton, "but, if they can, top it." |
