Exhibitions to See This Fall

Happy Labor Day, and welcome to the first-ever ARTINFO Top 5. This column, which will appear every Monday, is a space in which the ARTINFO editorial team selects five artworks, objects, ideas, trends, or little nothings that we like, that surprise us, that tickle us, that excite us—in other words, anything. Some weeks we’ll feature a random assortment of items that have caught our attention; other times, our picks will have a focus, like this week, when we select exhibitions of particular interest to us in the upcoming fall season.

Since this is our first time doing the Top 5, you’ll have to pardon our exuberance and lack of discipline: Top 5 has become Top 8. Please also pardon the New York bias—it’s the city we live in.
