Frieze Announces 2007 Writer’s Prize Winner

LONDON—The leading European arts and culture magazine Frieze has awarded to Mia Jankowicz this year’s Frieze Writer’s Prize, designed to recognize emerging contemporary art critics. Jankowicz will receive £2,000 and will have her first review for the magazine published in October. “Highly commended” for 2007 are Bettina Brunner and Natalie Haddad. All three prizewinners for 2006—Jeffrey Ryan, Joanna Kleinberg, and Jason Foumberg—now regularly write for the magazine.
