September Horoscope
Aquarius
Jan. 20–Feb. 18
Mars, Warrior Lord, is in that part of your stage that addresses creativity and children. As he is also squaring off with Uranus, Your Inner Disturber, and because this tension is unsettling, you may find yourself in extended fights with children, whether your own or others. As Mars is in Gemini, most of these struggles will be about ideas, books, and language. It is also possible that your children—especially boys, as we are talking about Mars—get into fights all on their own and then come home to you agitated. You can express this energy in a far more creative way than endless conversations that go nowhere. Try an intellectual pursuit in private. Spend time alone with pen and paper (or a computer) and write something. Think of overcoming writer’s block as a battle. Make your ideas known to the world, especially if they are radical. Remember that rebellious Uranus is the ruler of your sign, meaning that there is a natural kinship between him and Aquarius. As he is in that part of your stage that speaks to your finances for several more years, it is quite possible that your words pay off, quite literally, over time. Uranus in Pisces is also particularly inspired. The Sun, Lord of Ego, is in a secretive area of your inner stage. In Virgo he also sheds light on your psychological health. You expend much energy introspecting, and you ask yourself questions about what is going on inside of you. Perhaps you choose to discuss this with a therapist. Dreams, an indication of your inner life, may interest you more. Virgo speaks of the body, and you may seek help from various body workers. Alternative health, mental and physical, interests you particularly at this time. With Mercury, Lord of Mind, also in this area of your stage, you can make great strides in understanding your inner life and what you need to do to heal anything that has been an ongoing health issue. Uranus is also in creative tension with Mercury, and so your intuition is heightened as well. The Moon, Queen of the Hearth, speaks about your family and now in particular about your siblings. Much emotional energy is spent here. As the Moon is in Aries when the month begins, you feel a distinct urge to move headfirst. Any unresolved issues that you have with siblings are quickly addressed. Because this Moon is also in close harmonious relationship with Saturn, Master of Discipline, it is very likely that you make great strides here. The Moon/Saturn connection also shows your desire to participate in your immediate surroundings, in your neighborhood. Do you feel comfortable where you live? Are you friendly with the neighbors? This is a great month to instigate a neighborhood party or start a flower-planting campaign in your street. At home you still have lovely dreams about how you could redecorate. Venus, Goddess of Beauty and Love, rules here, and she is now in a creative tension with Neptune, Lord of Dreams. With the Saturn/Moon connection this month, you may actually finish some of those projects that have been on your list seemingly forever.
