SINGAPORE—The Zurich-based
Credit Suisse Group bank has signed on for a three-year sponsorship of the
Singapore Art Museum,
Bloomberg reports. The partnership, the first long-term arrangement with a corporation in the museum's history, kicked off today with an exhibition of paintings by the Indonesian expressionist
Affandi, which runs through November 18. The bank is slated to present a series of exhibitions at the museum through 2010 that will feature artists from Vietnam, Indonesia, and China, and works by Swiss sculptor
Alberto Giacometti, according to
Francois Monnet, Credit Suisse's head of private banking for Southeast Asia.
