To Riley, Museum Park is the last link in the daisy chain of art in Miami. “Most cities have an encyclopedic downtown museum and then slowly build a contemporary-art scene. Miami is exactly the opposite,” he says. “MAM and Museum Park could be the urban center Miami needs, a place where young people can go and learn about the possibilities of life. It will be great for the city, and for art.”
