NEW YORK—A bevy of socialites, artists, designers, and more joined Diane Brown to raise money for her non-profit at the RxArt Ball on October 25. Attendees included Cynthia Rowley and Bill Powers, Regina Abramovich, Fabiola Beracasa, Glenn O’Brien, Edward Albee, Dana Farouki, and Dan Colen. Held at Phillips de Pury & Company, auctions during the ball raised more than $400,000 for RxArt to purchase art for hospitals across the United States.

Just like last year, artists and photographers—including Vik Muniz, Marilyn Minter, and Lawrence Weiner—created 10-inch by 10-inch works for sale. Richard Prince's donation, Untitled (Publicity) portrait of actress Jenny McCarthy, brought $50,000, the highest bid of the evening. For a new spin on things, each attendee this year received a piece from a jigsaw puzzle depicting one of Terry Richardson's clown photographs; they're also available for purchase, signed and numbered, at www.rxart.net.
