LONDON—This weekend, Michael and Gabrielle Boyd of Santa Monica, Calif., will auction 310 lots worth of furniture and collectibles from their house at Christie’s London, reports the L.A. Times. They hope to fetch upwards of $1 million.

The sale, titled “Modernism From a California Collection” will include pieces by Frank Lloyd Wright, Charles and Ray Eames, Le Corbusier, Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, Isamu Noguchi, Marcel Breuer, Richard Neutra, and Rudolph Schindler.

The Boyds say they will retain about “1,000 substantive pieces” from their collection, dating from 1900 to 1965. Sixteen of the couple’s pieces, most by Eames, are currently on loan to the exhibition “Birth of the Cool: California Art, Design and Culture at Midcentry” at the Orange County Museum of Art through January 6.
