Jeff Koons, Cindy Sherman Take Art to the Towels

DALLAS, Texas—Starting on Monday, you can find art from such high-profile artists as Jeff Koons, Cindy Sherman, Elizabeth Peyton, and Kehinde Wiley in an unlikely place: Target. The artists each created a limited-edition beach towel for Target's Artist Towel Series 2008, a partnership with the Art Production Fund's WOW (Works on Whatever) series, aimed at making art more accessible to everyone, the Dallas Morning News reports. Proceeds from the towels, priced at $50 each, will go to the Art Production Fund's projects and to the children's charity Koons Family Institute.
