LONDON—Charles Saatchi is in talks to open a gallery in the United Arab Emirates and launch an Arabic-language version of Saatchi Online, Financial Times reports. Saatchi says he also might sell a stake in Saatchi Online, a free social networking site for the art world, to commercialize the site. The Saatchi Gallery's director, Nigel Hurst, said a financial partner could introduce advertising to the site and commissions for sales made over the site. Saatchi would share any finances Saatchi Online gains with the 35,000-plus artists on the site, which has become one of the 300 busiest sites on the Internet in less than two years.
