These days, everyone’s a minor-league Nostradamus or Cassandra. “Mark My words,” we tell our friends, right before dispensing our latest prediction about politics or sports. Certainly the art market invites frenzied speculation: guesses as to when the big crash is coming, and if it’s coming at all, are a dime a dozen. Perhaps more useful is this look at seven bona fide art trends that will arrive in ’08. Just mark our words.
