NEW YORK—The Art Dealers Association of America is offering something new at its annual Art Show this February, according to the New York Times. This year, in addition to the usual dealers' booths, the fair at the Park Avenue Armory will include three site-specific projects by emerging artists. All three have affiliations to Bard College in Annandale-on-Hudson, as do ADAA president Roland Augustine, who is a trustee of the school, and Armory artistic adviser Tom Eccles, who directs Bard's Center for Curatorial Studies. The projects, which will be open to the public, include a collaboration between artist Spencer Finch and Trevor Smith, the center's curator in residence; an installation by Lisi Raskin, an artist in residence at Bard; and a performance piece Italian artist Pietro Roccasalva is creating together with a Bard student. Artists from Bard's graduate program will create a video installation for the armory as well. The projects are part of an effort to draw a new, younger audience to the Art Show.
