Happy New Year!

NEW YORK—Even after all of the holiday festivities, art partying hasn’t let up one bit. Already, the new year has seen a fair amount of gallery galas filled with art world celebrities. The Guggenheim Museum co-hosted a Louis Vuitton launch party for the Richard Prince handbag collection on January 8, hopefully an indication of more glamor to come in 2008. Julian Schnabel’s “Navigation Drawings” opened at Sperone Westwater on January 8, and Robert Rauschenberg’s “RUNTS” opened on January 10 at PaceWildenstein.
